Our Retreat Planning Committee for the Ministry to Men District Retreat has worked hard and identified the perfect venue for our retreat.  We are recommending the Little Ocmulgee State Park & Lodge in Helena, Georgia (http://www.gastateparks.org/LittleO).  We have personally visited and are impressed with the lodge rooms, meeting space, restaraunt, grounds, cottages, and RV parking.  Unfortunately, our delay in planning has resulted in capacity challenges (e.g., limited rooms, cottages unavailable, enclosed shelters unavailable, etc.).  Consequently, we have elected to delay the retreat until next Conference Year.  We have spoken with the lodge management and see this decision as a chance to do better long-range planning for space, financing, and program participation.

We are hopeful that your excitement will continue and in anticipation are launching the NEW Sixth Episcopal District MINISTRY TO MEN Website so that we can survey your opinions and communicate the plans as they become available.
